Introduction
Well..I'm really not sure how many people are actually going to read this, but oh well. I just need somewhere to release my thoughts, whether it be about my day, political issue, a rant, and maybe just a quote, anything is game for me.
But I think for my first post, I'm just going to tell you a little about myself. My name is Samantha, and I am originally from South Dakota and attending school in Nebraska to get my degree in legal studies. My mom and brother recently moved to Nebraska and a lot closer to my school. I think my mom is following me, just kidding. We have family here and after my parents' ugly divorce (which I'm sure I'll post about eventually), she decided she needed to be closer to family and moved to Nebraska. I am currently jobless, I don't really have much time for a job due to all my schoolwork. I feel like I am constantly doing homework, reading cases and writing case briefs, or studying! But that's what I get for being pre-law. I have an unhealthy obsession with mountain dew. Instead of drinking coffee, I'll drink a can of mountain dew. However, I have been cutting back! I have a three year old Bischon/Shi tzu mix and he is my baby! His name is Toby, and he recently learned a few new tricks: shake, roll over, and dance. And he also loves cookies, he's my own little Cookie Monster. And he recently figured out where my mom hides the cookies. So now, he goes and sits by the cookie drawer and puts his furry little paw up, waiting for someone to come shake it and give him a cookie, silly puppy! I have an undying love for the games of softball and volleyball. However, I had to quit playing competitively after my senior year of high school due to shoulder problems. I do continue to play them for fun though. I also have a huge celebrity crush on the Minnesota Twin's catcher, Joe Mauer. I have been to countless number of Twins games and am a huge fan. I also enjoy photography. I do it just for fun, maybe I'll post some of my photographs on here. Well, I think that's enough about me for now. As I keep posting, I'm sure you'll learn more about me.
